Lodging
We have limited reserved space at the Six South Street Hotel until July 23, 2026. Rooms are $289 a night in our discounted block — email lrc-group@dartmouth.edu to confirm your nights of stay and we will add you to the hotel block. You can pay at check-in.
If that room block fills, other options near campus include:
- Hanover Inn Dartmouth — on campus, on the Dartmouth Green
- Residence Inn by Marriott Hanover Lebanon — all-suite hotel at Centerra, about 10 minutes from campus
- Hilton Garden Inn Hanover Lebanon — near I-89 in Lebanon, about 10 minutes from campus
Travel
Most people will fly into Boston, MA (BOS) or Manchester, NH (MHT) airports.
From Boston, the easiest way to get to campus is via the Dartmouth Coach. It travels to/from campus from/to:
- Boston Logan Airport (any terminal)
- Boston South Station
From Boston or Manchester, you may rent a car and drive. You may need to hunt for available parking or pay to park at the hotel.
From New York City, book the Dartmouth Coach from the stop at 150 E 42nd Street, take the Amtrak Vermonter train, or consider the Cape Air flight to LEB.
Train: Amtrak Vermonter to White River Junction, then a cab/rideshare to campus.
Fly: Limited flights into Lebanon Municipal Airport (LEB) from Boston and New York on Cape Air.
Activities
Consider adding time to your trip to enjoy New England, based out of Hanover. From hiking the Appalachian Trail to kayaking and canoeing, there are many things to do within walking distance of the event:
- Ledyard Canoe/Kayak Rentals — canoe and kayak rentals on the Connecticut River, steps from campus
- Appalachian Trail — accessible right from campus sidewalks (trail map)
- King Arthur Baking Company — bakery, cafe, and baking classes in Norwich, VT
- Quechee Gorge — Vermont’s “Little Grand Canyon,” about 20 minutes away
- Hood Museum of Art — free art museum right on the Dartmouth campus
